Session Guide

for intimate, boudoir, and nude sessions

My #1 priority is safety regarding your body image and mental health, so let’s do this at your pace.

I am here to support and help you through this amazing experience. From choosing wardrobe to posing and movement, I’ve got your back.
This guide is full of great inspiration to help you get ready!

before your session

ask questions

Review my FAQ’s and speak up! If you are uncomfortable, unsure, or questioning your readiness, that is okay. This is your time to do with however you please. To make sure your needs are being met, I do my best to check on you frequently while we’re shooting. Almost every client says “I’m not ready” or “I’m nervous!” beforehand. And guess what? That’s perfectly alright!

Collect Inspiration

Create a Pinterest board or send me some photos inspiration for your session, and I will do the same. It’s important we are on the same page for the look and feel you’re going for. My Pinterest Boudoir Board is updated often and is a great place to start if you don’t know what you’re looking for. I make individual boards for each client to suit their unique needs.

get tuned up

Curate a playlist that we can play that makes you feel awesome. I have plenty of playlists too, so if you can’t decide, I’ll choose!

check in with your pals

Chances are, your friends will be very excited for you. Get their input about accessories, outfits, and poses.  It can help you to get ideas you wouldn’t have otherwise thought of.

prep your wardrobe

I don’t provide wardrobe for the shoot, so it’s up to you to choose clothes that make you feel great. Sexy, strong, and powerful are feelings, not just looks. If your “power suit” is a tshirt and boxer briefs, I’m here for it. I usually recommend 3 to 4 outfit changes that vary in length, fit, and color. Also think about any accessories or props you might want to incorporate. No reshoots are available due to client disliking the wardrobe or styling in photos.

Some of my favorite size-inclusive places to shop for shoots are Savage x Fenty, Fashion Nova, Fashion Nova Curve, Adore Me, Forever21, Forever21 Plus, Target

get yourself ready!

I don’t provide makeup for the shoot, so leave enough time before the session to do your hair and makeup (if you want to). If shooting in your location, I generally arrive 10-15 minutes beforehand to check out the lighting and set up my equipment. If you are coming to my location, please arrive on time to your appointment. Sometimes shoots are scheduled back-to-back, and to avoid a rushed shoot, or having to reschedule altogether, it is imperative that you arrive on time, or even a few minutes early. If you are more than 10 minutes late to your appointment, you may be asked to reschedule.
